About Us

Hello and welcome to my website UpliftingMobility.com!

Tim BrewerMy name is Tim and I’ve been a health care practitioner working with seniors for over 20 years. I have cared for people through many different stages of the aging process.

My main focus has been to help people live a happy, healthy life while having as much independence as possible.

I was first interested in helping seniors when my grandmother broke her hip and was unable to get around like she used to. I watched her struggle with day to day life and helped her out as much as I could. I became quite familiar with all of her different mobility aids and found some worked well and others didn’t. Helping her get the most out of her life became something that I was passionate about.

It is because of this that mobility aids became my specialty. My passion is to work with my clients to help them stay active and mobile. Getting older can be hard and can present many challenges that we aren’t ready to deal with. I find that the hardest thing for most people to do initially is to stay positive and accept the aging process. Once we accept our limitations we can usually find a unobtrusive way to modify your life to make it more comfortable, safe and pain free.

Sometimes a simple change is all that is needed to keep you on your feet. I try and provide simple, inexpensive solutions that will work for you in the long term.

I believe that the single most important thing to do as you age is to stay active. Keeping your body limber and flexible will slow the aging process and help you to lead a happy, healthy life. Simply going for a walk every day is enough to make a huge difference in your overall well being. If you add weight lifting, stretching and other sporting activities this will only enhance your health.  You can read more about the importance of an active life here.

I created this website to help people choose the right mobility aid to suit their needs and budget. I hope the information I provide can help you make your choice much easier.

I really want you to have a happy and healthy life!

Take care,
Tim
